I know that it ain't the best time in the world, but I just couldn't help telling you about the time I got in Super Sheep Racing in Worms Armageddon.

As you can see, I've beaten my previous best by 14 minutes 19 seconds. I could've gone on and on in it, but it wasn't to be. I never expected to get this time at all, now I believe I can get a better time. Who knows, I might be able to reach 30 minutes, but I'll just have to wait and find out.

One last thing, I was extremely focused when doing this, and it paid off.

My word, hasn't it been a while since my last journal (last December, if you're curious)!

Aaaaanywwway, a couple of things happened over the past 7 months, and here they are:

First, my Nintendo DS ran out on me as the battery's gone flat in April (well I did have it since last February), so my parents got me the new Nintendo DSi for my birthday, which is really smart.

Second, the start of July was a scorcher. On the 2nd, we had the temperature reaching 30 DEGREES!! Talk about hot, eh?

Last, the weather turned against us in July (despite the hot dry start), as rain and heavy showers dominated the month. I found it so annoying.

That's the end of this journal. Don't know when the next journal will be up, but I'll let you know when it happens.

Yes, 2008 has almost past us, and what a year it has been, especially at the Olympics and Paralympics in Beijing where Team GB have done tremendously well. 4th and 2nd in their respective tables? What an achievement. They did Great Britain proud.

As this is my final journal of 2008, I'll leave you this message: Have a super 'Sonic' new year, everyone and hope 2009 will be a great year for you! Roll on 2009!!

Sonic has done it again. This time, he's been named the most favourited VG character in Britain, according to a poll set-up by the London Games Festival. He's beaten Mario again, and also the likes of Lara Croft, Link and Donkey Kong.

The final results are as follows:

1st Sonic - 24%
2nd Mario - 21%
3rd Lara Croft - 16%
4th Donkey Kong - 11%
5th Pac-Man - 10%
6th Link - 5%
7th Max Payne - 4%
8th Pikachu - 3%
9th Niko Belic (GTA) - 2%
10th Blanka (Street Fighter) - 1%

So congrats to the blue supersonic hedgehog again.

Sonic has been named the best-loved videogame character, just ahead of Mario, according to a British internet poll.

A thousand gamers were quizzed for this poll, as to who is the best-loved character, as I found out in the newspaper earlier.

Sonic beat the likes of Pac-Man, Tomb Raider's Lara Croft and Donkey Kong, along with Mario's brother Luigi.

The final positions were:

1st Sonic
2nd Mario
3rd Pac-Man
4th Lara Croft
5th Luigi
6th Donkey Kong

So, there you have it. Sonic has become the best-loved VG character, only just, in the UK.
